Sarah Eigerman

Artistic Director

After obtaining her BA and MFA in Theatre from Smith and NYU, respectively, Ms. Eigerman acted off-Broadway and regionally, while also teaching at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and the T. Schreiber Studio.
Co-founder and Associate Director of the Real Stage in New York, she headed the Mirror Theatre Apprentice Program, as well as teaching numerous independent workshops in Europe.
Since creating FACT in 1989, Ms. Eigerman has directed professional productions in Paris and Avignon, often with the Compagnie Paris - New York, most recently authoring four plays in French.
Among her former students: Lorraine Bracco; Steve Buscemi, Jerome Pradon (Laurence Olivier Award nominee); Olivier Till (co-starred in Le Charlatan, Théâtre Saint Georges, Paris)

Diplômée de Smith College et de N.Y.U., Sarah Eigerman a enseigné au Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute et à l'American Academy of Dramatic Arts à New York avant d'y co-fonder The Real Stage, puis de diriger le Programme de Technique Complète du Real Stage de Paris ainsi que des stages en Europe et en Amérique du Nord.
Elle a joué off-Broadway, pour le New York Shakespeare Festival et avec la Mirror Repertory Company.
Depuis 1989, année où elle a créé FACT, Sarah Eigerman a mis en scène de nombreux spectacles, souvent avec la Compagnie Paris New York, - les plus récents marquant ses débuts en tant qu'auteur.
